Keep Going

For all of us in this season.
I want you to know that no matter how heavy you feel right now, your feelings are always valid.
It is not easy to tell yourself that everything will be okay when you feel so hopeless, but I pray you always try to make yourself feel better no matter what life is throwing at you.
I pray your scars begin to heal.
I pray that you never get tired of picking yourself up every time you fall.
Life is all about experience but that only kicks in when we don’t listen to those who have walked before us.
You have to remain focused in a world of chaos.
I pray that the universe will be more accommodating to us especially on the days we dislike ourselves.
Life give us rewards and consequences with our choices therefore, let us be mindful of our actions.
Whatever you do keep going.
If you stop now those younger than you will pass you by.
Find your strength in He that placed the sand on the earth. #Countree -

Stress

Seed Session Stress
Today I would like to speak about stress, because it happens, and when it does, we need to keep in mind that stress can make situations worse.
Your job, relationship, pets, traveling, health, and anything that is connected to your emotions.
If you ask most people, are you stressed?
Nine times out of 10 they will reply, no.
What is stress? Stress is defined by the WHO (The World Health Organization), as a state of worry or mental tension, caused by a difficult situation.
Stress is a natural human response, that prompts us to address challenges, and threats in our lives.
It is unavoidable at times, but some moments are just destined.
Stress-related issues cause about 50 to 80% of all illnesses in this life!
That is a very huge percentage, and this is a very big problem.
Stress will kill you faster than any fatal disease.
Our mind is extremely powerful, and it has a great influence on our body and our body in turn influences our mind.
From the impact of stress, you end up with, things like, high blood pressure, ulcers, migraine headaches, arthritis, difficulty breathing, panic attacks, heart issues, blurred vision, constipation or diarrhea, inflammatory diseases, asthma, sleep disorders, respiratory diseases, skin problems, and anorexia, weight gain, and this is just to name a few.
You probably said a few. Yeah, it was because the list goes on and on.
Stress is fatal to the body, and we need to realize that. Now don’t let me sound too gloomy.
Because there is some good stress out there, but not as much as the bad stuff.
Physical stress and being creative with activities can be seen by the mind as pleasing.
Now, what are some signs, or feelings of stress. Being anxious, nervous, afraid, overburden, overwhelmed, feeling sick, dizzy, faint, changes in your menstrual cycle, your thoughts are racing and you can’t turn them off, unable to enjoy yourself, depressed, uninterested in life, you start to lose your sense of humor, worried or tense, neglected or lonely, unable to make decisions, can’t concentrate, moody, nail biting, leg shaking, grinding your teeth, clenching your jaw, experiencing sexual problems, such as losing interest in sex, avoiding sex, or being able to enjoy sex, possibly worry or have feelings of dread, withdrawal from the people around you. It feels as if the world is closing in on me, I can’t breathe, I am running out of time.
How can we deal with stress?
The first thing I suggest to my people is to get off social media. That ISH will have you leaping from buildings.
Turn off the news. Stay away from negative people and situations.
You matter. You are important. You must take care of yourself.
Eat right, get some sleep, exercise, do some deep breathing. Even if it’s for 5 minutes.
If you don’t know how, research some beginner videos.
Be consistent with making you complete.
Don’t give up on you.
Give yourself 30 minutes to do nothing.
Find people that are pouring into you. Not negatively calling you all the time to gossip.
Don’t use drugs and alcohol and sex as a way of coping.
When in doubt, reach out to a therapist or someone you trust.
Masking the pain only makes it worse!
We must deal with these things head on.
Build our relationship with the higher power.
Takeaways: I know this was a lot of information.
Daily life circumstances call us to decide each day what type of day we will have.
We must remember that choosing not to worry is totally up to us.
Yes, this is hard, life is hard, but if we practice positive input, and the way we navigate through negativity, when daily circumstances arrive, we are better equipped to face them.
Do some deep breathing. Take a walk. Find some positive videos. Laugh, enjoy life because one day it will end, and we don’t want stress to win.
Our mind controls our body, which controls our mind.
And on that note, take care of yourself. Don’t fall victim to stress, and if you hang in there with me, I’ll hang in there with you. Peace.
