  • Keep Going

    Keep Going

For all of us in this season.
I want you to know that no matter how heavy you feel right now, your feelings are always valid.
It is not easy to tell yourself that everything will be okay when you feel so hopeless, but I pray you always try to make yourself feel better no matter what life is throwing at you.
I pray your scars begin to heal.
I pray that you never get tired of picking yourself up every time you fall.
Life is all about experience but that only kicks in when we don’t listen to those who have walked before us.
You have to remain focused in a world of chaos.
I pray that the universe will be more accommodating to us especially on the days we dislike ourselves.
Life give us rewards and consequences with our choices therefore, let us be mindful of our actions.
    Whatever you do keep going.
If you stop now those younger than you will pass you by.
Find your strength in He that placed the sand on the earth. #Countree

  • It’s okay to Love ❤️

    It’s okay to Love ❤️

It’s okay to love. It’s okay to grieve after loving someone. Don’t allow people to tell you how to process your feelings. Take your time. Don’t be ashamed of how much you love someone or how quickly you fell in love with them believe that was it.
Love fully, love completely, but most importantly, let love happen naturally.
Sometimes timing is it or sometimes that person was there to teach you something. You don’t have to apologize for loving someone. Some want love but do not know how to receive it or recognize it. Some want it but are afraid it will not work out or they just don’t want it.
If this is the case just let people be. Dont even approach the person if you are unsure because people grieve. Their soul attaches.
The soul connects bodies way before you meet physically and it’s on the individuals to recognize that. When they do but they don’t someone ends up grieving while the other one keep repeating the cycle that causes one to grieve. With all of that I say but God it will come around again just take your time and keep your cookies until you know that it’s real.
Love has a plethora of emotions.
Do what you need to do to heal.
    Love Countree🩵

  • Today

What’s something you used to worry about but don’t anymore?

For a long time, I carried the weight of the unknown, constantly trying to prepare for every possible ‘what if. Realizing that tomorrow isn’t promised and that God has already planned for it changed the way I move through life. I stopped stressing over what’s next and started seeking Him in what’s now.

  • Surviving while dying 😔

When you’ve survived chaos for so long, peace can feel like an unfamiliar room. You end up pouring your heart into hands that misuse it because struggle feels normal, while building walls against genuine people because safety feels scary. Not normal.

Healing means unlearning that survival mode, but only if you are willing to sacrifice yourself. Stop pouring into those who drain you, and allow yourself to be loved by people who bring rest, who will clap with you, because real love doesn’t make you fight for your worth, it gives you a place to lay your cape down. • Choices 🦋💕

If you had to give one life-changing tip, what would it be?

Every day, we stand at a crossroads. We can go right or you can go left. We always have destiny, but you also have to live with where that direction takes us.

Taking the wrong road might seem easier or faster in that moment, but the detours cost you heavy time. Doing wrong always takes twice as long to get out of than it did to get into.

Making the right choice isn’t always easy, but it builds a foundation nobody can take away from us. We hold the keys. Choose wisely, because every choice is creating our future.

  • Love Love

Beauty might light the spark, but it’s the soul that keeps the fire burning.

When you fall in love with someone’s character their quiet kindness, integrity, and the graceful way they hold your world time stops being an enemy and becomes a gift.

Wrinkles will eventually frame their eyes, and youth will softly slip away, but ab authentic heart only grows richer with the years.

To love a soul is to love the way they show up in the quiet moments, the softness in their voice when you’re breaking, the shared values that anchor you through life’s storms, and the grace with which they move through the world.

Looks may draw two strangers into the same room, but it is the warmth of the soul that turns a temporary space into a lifelong home.

When you love who someone is at their core, every passing year doesn’t fade the magic it deepens it.

You aren’t just holding a hand you’re holding a sanctuary.

    Don’t give up on love. Be patient and do a work in you. #taleshasandidge #chattingwithcountreepodcast #chattingwithcountree #love #dontgiveup #loveneverfails

  • Positions of Power

Some parts of life will never be fair.

There are far too few good hearted people left and I do mean a few.

You don’t sit in positions of power to do nothing with it.

If it weren’t for the boots on the ground, you know the people doing the real work, the people at the top wouldn’t even exist.

Do better with them. They matter.

    My eyes are wide open.

    I see you.

And if you’ve ever had to work hard for something and put away who you are to appease others, then you feel me.

And if you think for second am I talking about you then yes I am.

    Stop taking people for granted!!!!!

  • Life happens to the best of us.

I didn’t fight cancer for me.

I fought because my kids still needed me.

I fought because of my grandkids.

    I fought for my family.

    I fought for love.

I fought it for you the reader.

I fought it because people needed to know that if you hold on to your faith and believe, you can move mountains.

Cancer was that mountain along with many others for me.

There were days I didn’t feel brave, pretty or strong.

I was weak, devastated and disgusted.

There were days I wanted to quit, but I kept going.

Cancer shatters your soul. It shows you what matters and who is truly there for you. It revealed who people were that I called friend.

It showed me that family matters despite our differences.

It’s time out for politics and judgment.

It’s time to love with all that I have left.

    Cancer changed me.

Im already known as Princess Poppy but now im even softer.

    Im more intentional.

    I come with limits.

    Here today gone tomorrow.

Forgive, love, smile, hug, kiss, have fun, build your faith and embrace who you are. Laugh people are so serious these days. Everything is not always a debate. Can we just be in one anothers presence.

Life happens to the best of us.

It doesn’t matter if you are fat, skinny, just right, white, black, Puerto Rican, or Asian.

    Just be yourself.

And if you have survived anything traumatic, you are proof of the strength most people will never have to find.

    Enjoy today🦋💕

  • The Big C (Cancer)

When you’re diagnosed, you’re handed two terrifying truths at the same time.

    This could end you.

And the thing that might save you is going to cost you in more ways than one.

    You agree to it all.

Not because you’re brave. Not because you’re strong.

But because you want to live.

And living comes at a cost.

There’s the physical cost. The way your body no longer feels like it belongs entirely to you.

The way it becomes a battlefield and a science experiment at the same time.

There’s the mental cost. The hypervigilance.

The scans. The waiting. The way every ache has a question mark attached to it. Missing the version of yourself who held a sense of safety in your body. The quiet trauma of it all.

The way your nervous system doesn’t always settle back down.

And for many, there’s the financial cost.

Deductibles. Co pays. Time off work. Careers paused. Savings drained. Bills that stack up while you’re just trying to stay alive. The quiet fear of wondering if you will be able to keep up with the cost of surviving.

    People love the word survivor.

    It sounds victorious. Triumphant.

But sometimes surviving looks like chronic side effects.

Sometimes it looks like anxiety that hums in the background and spikes without warning.

Sometimes it looks like medical bills that linger long after treatment ends.

Sometimes it looks like learning to function in a body that feels permanently altered.

You are grateful to be alive.

And you are allowed to grieve what it cost to stay that way.

Both can be true without canceling each other out.

    Survival is not free.

    It is earned with sacrifice.

And that sacrifice deserves to be acknowledged. Not minimized. Not

sugarcoated. Not wrapped in inspirational quotes.

    Just honored.

Because surviving cancer isn’t just about not dying.

It’s about learning how to live again after everything it cost you.

Sometimes the future bothers me. Lord allow me to live without fear
